   Origins/ Woolsey Concrete is a long established family firm based in Northern Ireland . It was started back in the late sixties by Bertie Woolsey who diversified from building contracting to pre-cast concrete. The company specializes in the manufacturing of Tri-deck concrete flooring systems, cattle slats, pig slats support beams etc. for use in commercial and agricultural applications . Recently the company has expanded into the production of pile and foundation systems which it manufactures under license for Roger Bullivant ltd who have production bases throughout the UK mainland. Brothers Robert and Christopher Woolsey acquired the firm in 1987 and are the present Directors. The company has enjoyed continued expansion over the past few years despite the sharp downturn in the agricultural sector, this success is mainly due to diversification into new products.
