Gone are the days of badly designed concrete slats.  Woolsey slats are in a gang form giving maximum stability with no height variation.  A uniform width of slat is also maintained in the gang as a wet mix is used.  The walls of the slat are of a smooth ‘glass finish’ to prevent blockages with the top surface being manufactured to a non-slip design. 

The concrete mix is of a very high standard and strength in order to withstand the hostile environment of a cattle shed.

Woolsey Concrete is a long established family business based in County Armagh that has been servicing the needs of the local construction industry, the agricultural sector and farming communities for more than 40 years. Formed in the late 1960’s by Bertie Woolsey, who diversified from building contracting to pre-cast concrete manufacturing, the company has over the last four decades built up an enviable reputation for quality of product and service excellence.

Three generations of the Woolsey family have built and expanded the Woolsey Concrete business. The Company founder, Bertie, son Robert and his wife Sandra, and their son, Robert John (RJ).
